2026 Lineup

de Havilland Vampire

BCA DEBUT

The jet age arrives at Taree. Watch for the Vampire’s unmistakable twin tail booms as it tears down the flight line.

Wolf Pitts Pro

Paul Bennet
Wolf Pitts Pro

Paul Bennet and the legendary Wolf Pitts Pro return for more jaw-dropping aerobatics from one of the world’s best.

Hawker Sea Fury

Strap in and experience the blistering low passes of one of the fastest piston-engined fighters ever built.

F4U-1D Corsair

VOUGHT F4U-1D CORSAIR

Instantly recognisable and impossible to ignore, the world’s only flying 1D Corsair returns to Taree this November.

Flag Drop Skydiving Opening Ceremony

Skydiving display

Aerobatics, skydiving and a huge Australian flag drop to open the show — be in your seat early for this one.

Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawk

Listen for the Allison V-12 — a deep, throaty growl that’s completely different to the radials and jets sharing the sky with it.

Wheels vs wings race

Who wins over 400 metres — four wheels or two wings? Pick your side before the lights go green.

THE SKY ACES

Bigger than ever: the Paul Bennet Airshows Sky Aces bring their four-ship formation to Taree for the first time, flying just metres apart at over 300km/h.

CAC Wirraway

Australian-built in Melbourne during WWII, the Wirraway trained a generation of RAAF pilots — and one famously shot down a Japanese Zero over New Guinea in 1942.

GRUMMAN AVENGER

A genuine WWII torpedo bomber, and the biggest single-engine aircraft of the war — watch for the folding wings after it lands.

Piper Cub Truck Landing

One of the most talked-about stunts of 2024 returns: a Piper Cub touching down on a truck travelling down the runway.

Zivko Edge 540

Glenn Graham
Edge 540

Built for one purpose and flown by Glenn Graham, the Edge 540 rolls faster than the eye can follow and pulls forces most aircraft would break under.

T-28 Trojan

A hefty American military trainer with a nine-cylinder 1,400hp radial engine — one of the loudest and most distinctive sounds in the 2026 lineup.

Cessna O-2 Skymaster

A propeller at both ends and twin tail booms — the strangest shape in the lineup.

Yak-52

The Soviet air force’s aerobatic trainer, built to be thrown around the sky and survive it. Listen for the distinctive rumble of its nine-cylinder radial.

RC Model Jets

Miniature jets powered by real turbine engines, flying real aerobatic routines at serious speed. Proof you don’t need to be full-size to put on a show.
